People Spark Solutions – Complimentary Workshop Offer for Fellow Pledge Members

People Spark Solutions are the latest organisation to be acknowledged for their contribution to the South Tyneside Pledge.

Launched in June 2020 the business supports organisations with their learning, talent and organisational development needs, and have made South Tyneside their permanent base.

With a core team of four highly skilled professionals and a network of talented associates, they bring over 50 years of combined experience to guide organisations from a range of sectors and have clients across the country including Nexus, Bernicia and Port of Tyne locally.

The firm have recently been nominated for a Culture Initiative of the Year Award, together with their client evaluagent in the British HR Awards 2025. This celebrates organisations that are truly passionate about delivering a world-class people experience. 

It’s not just people that Founder and Managing Director Scott Smith is passionate about. Since joining the South Tyneside Pledge he has a real focus on supporting the borough and keeping things local as he explains:

“Since moving back to the borough to build my business I have made a conscious effort to use local suppliers where I can, whether this be my IT contract, printing firm or accountants, they are all based in the borough and are mostly part of the Pledge.

“I am really proud to be from South Shields and I say this to any of our new clients, whether they are local or not. I love showing our clients around the borough and showcasing just what we have to offer, whether this our local cafés, restaurants or of course the fantastic coastline.  As local businesses we should be proud of our borough and shout about this to anybody who will listen.”

Cllr Paul Dean, Lead Member for Voluntary Sector, Partnerships and Equalities, said:

“Scott and his team are fantastic ambassadors for our borough and this is what the Pledge is all about. Collectively our businesses and organisations can make such a positive impact talking up South Tyneside and everything we have to offer.

“I know Scott and his team are also active in the voluntary sector giving time to various local causes and serving on the Board of Governors at a local school. For this we also thank them.”
