Ready-to-Work Candidates for Your Business

Thanks to a local employer, Jack has found his confidence and his future.

South Tyneside Council is currently working with residents like Jack as part of a new Connect to Work programme.

For some residents, like Jack, this may be as simple as support with a CV, or interview techniques. For other residents the support may be more intense. Employment coaches work intensively with candidates to explore their experience and capabilities.  Support is tailored to the candidate, and the outcome is always the same, to get the candidate ‘job ready’.

If your business has a vacancy, we could have a ‘job ready’ candidate that’s a perfect match!

Could you give somebody like Jack a chance, could you help us to Build a Stronger South Tyneside?

Please contact Claire Cook for an informal discussion. Email: claire.cook@southtyneside.gov.uk or complete the contact form below.

Your Workplace Matters

Perhaps you don’t have any vacancies at present, and already provide work for residents? Theres a range of support available to help you create and maintain a workplace where people can stay and progress. With more people of working age economically inactive for reasons of health and disability than ever before, this is really important.
