The site is located in South Tyneside 8 miles from both Newcastle upon Tyne and Sunderland city centres. The Port of Tyne’s deep-sea facility at Tyne Dock is immediately adjacent and the Nissan Manufacturing Plant is located less than 6 miles to the south.
Connectivity is excellent with the site situated just off the A185 providing access to the A19 less than 1 mile to the west.
The A19 is one of the main arterial routes running north south though the region linking conurbations to the north of the River Tyne via the Tyne Tunnel with those to the south including Sunderland and Teesside.
