A free event for South Tyneside residents and business owners

Thinking of starting a business? This practical workshop is a real opportunity to help you turn your idea into a plan you can actually use. Whether you’re just getting started or need a bit of structure to move forward, we’ll guide you through the essential steps to build a strong foundation in South Tyneside.

In this session, we’ll cover:

  • What to include in a business plan—and why it matters
  • Understanding your customers, competitors and market
  • Choosing the right legal structure for your business
  • Tools and templates to help you plan with confidence

You’ll leave with a clear outline for your business plan and the know-how to market your idea, plan for growth and reach your ideal customers.

Not sure where to start? You’re not alone. This friendly session will break things down step by step, with no jargon and plenty of support. Book your place now and join us to take the first step towards turning your idea into something real.

Businesses accessing this support will be asked to take part in a brief phone-based diagnostic to ensure as much as possible is gleaned from the programme. Regional eligibility criteria apply, please contact us to enquire about your eligibility.

This is a business start up programme delivered by TEDCO Business Support Ltd on behalf of South Tyneside Council which aims to support local residents with their aspirations to start up a business.

This project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
