“I want to congratulate all of our South Tyneside businesses who have put resource, time and efforts into achieving and in many cases sustaining these Awards. This is a great achievement.

“We know that promoting a healthy workplace has considerable benefits for employers and this a great way for businesses to access a range of free information, and helpful resources.”

The BHAWA scheme is free, flexible and open to ALL employers in the North East, regardless of size, location or type of business.

Many organisations already promote healthy lifestyles and consider the health of their employees.
