Award-winning specialist internet service provider Trench Networks has successfully achieved ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Certification in a recent two-day audit at their Head Office in Hebburn, South Tyneside.
Pentagon Assurance has been working with the team at Trench Networks on the road to becoming ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001 compliant. Last month, the team underwent an evaluation process that included quality management system development, a management system documentation review, audits and assessments before successfully achieving both standards.
Barry Cooper, Managing Director at Pentagon Assurance said:
“We are delighted to continue working with the team at Trench Networks. Their overall success has been a fantastic show of their commitment to both of the standards, with no minor NCR’s raised, no major NCR’s raised and no Opportunities for Improvement raised – all in all a pretty healthy and of course a very pleasing result for everyone.”
Jake Dixon, Process and Compliance Lead at Trench Networks said:
“Obtaining both certifications demonstrates our commitment to providing an exemplary quality of service to our clients and maintaining the standards will require continuous improvement, and continuing to listen to the needs and feedback of our customers. We are looking forward to continuing the journey with Pentagon Assurance as we grow the business and the quality of service we provide.”
ISO 9001:2015 is the latest quality management standard that helps businesses and organisations to be more efficient and improve customer satisfaction. The standard is designed to meet the needs of today’s business world by focusing on risk-based thinking to achieve a coherent foundation for growth and sustained success. Companies that are ISO 9001:2015 certified place greater emphasis on leadership engagement and help address organisational risks and opportunities in a structured manner.
ISO 14001 helps organisations improve their environmental performance and sustain growth through the efficient use of resources and reduction of wastes, which provides a competitive advantage to the organisation. There are many benefits of ISO 14001 including waste reduction, recycling and consumption cost savings, identifies and manages environmental risks, proves commitment to the environment improvement and reduces costs.
