Mr Swainstons, the traditional sweet shop based in South Shields, is pleased to announce that
it will be appearing on Dragons’ Den.
The episode is due to air on Thursday 20th August at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
Founded with a passion for traditional sweets, nostalgia and proper old fashioned customer service, Mr Swainstons has become a firm favourite in the North East and beyond.
During the episode, owners John Gray and Sean Robinson will pitch their business and share the story behind Mr Swainstons, representing South Shields, the North East and the much-loved tradition of the Great British Sweet Shop.
