The technical team behind a multimedia show watched by over two million visitors at an event in Japan are celebrating their success here in South Tyneside.
db Show Control Systems designed, manufactured, installed, and programmed the show control system, which acted as the technical backbone for Under the Midnight Rainbow. This multimedia spectacular premiered at Expo 2025 Osaka, an international event that showcases innovations, culture, and ideas from countries around the globe.
At the heart of the performance stands a 20-metre-high Cascade Screen, surrounded by a matrix of more than 300 1D and 3D jets and a wide array of effects forming a dynamic water stage.
The system ensured perfect synchrony across hundreds of devices and effects, including fountains and water jets, mist screens and flames in an immersive experience that celebrated the elemental forces of air and water.
