South Tyneside Pledge organisation and business energy consultants Tritility, recently secured their Good Business Charter accreditation following a year of milestones and growth. This recognition strengthens Tritility’s commitment to ethical, sustainable, and responsible practices, driven by their core belief in doing business the right way.
The Good Business Charter recognises companies who uphold ethical, sustainable, and meaningful business standards and practices, assessing those based on ten core components: real living wage, fairer hours and contracts, employee well-being, employee representation, diversity and inclusion, environmental responsibility, paying fair tax, commitment to customers, ethical sourcing, and prompt payment.
Tritility’s co-founder and Director Jamie Wyatt comments that these values resonate with Tritility’s vision.
“We’re proud to be recognised by the Good Business Charter with this accreditation. It reflects the values that have been at the core of Tritility since day one.”

Starting in 2019, Tritility has prioritised fair pay and employee well-being, becoming the region’s first Business Energy Consultancy to be recognised as a Living Wage Employer. Since then, the business’ efforts have continued to attract local interest and recognition, including the ‘’World-class to Work for’’ accreditation by Best Companies for the third year running. The Silver Better Health at Work Award and the titles of Disability Confident and Mindful Employer further underscore the company’s dedication to an inclusive and supportive workplace.
Joining the Good Business Charter places Tritility in the ranks of a community committed to integrity and responsible business practice. Members of the charter include businesses like Aviva, Northumbrian Water Group, and TSB Bank, among others.
