Our Spring Networking event will focus on sustainability, one of the key pillars of the South Tyneside Pledge initiative.
Join us for lunch, networking and to hear from other organisations about some of the fantastic work going on across the borough.
Attendees will hear from Carbon Foot Printing Expert, James Staniforth about the free support he can offer to businesses through the BIPC North East. This includes carbon foot printing for business, understanding your impact and developing a net-zero strategy. James can also cover environmental and sustainability advice, policy and CSR development.
ITC Service’s Technical Director, Christopher Potts will be sharing their sustainability journey and Lee Jackson from Smart Carbon will introduce the SmartCarbon Calculator platform. Whether your organisation needs to report on emissions for compliance purposes or just wants to become more sustainable in line with company values, SmartCarbon could help.

On booking organisations can opt in to speaking at the event, this can be simply to introduce your organisation but we would warmly welcome any updates around sustainability, and any recent actions to reduce carbon emissions and your carbon footprint.
All organisations attending will be asked to provide an introduction to their organisation; identify top products or services they buy and sell to encourage local business. This will be printed out to help encourage local collaboration.
Places are reserved for Pledge organisations only, and will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
