225 organisations from South Tyneside have now signed up to the South Tyneside Pledge. To celebrate this and boost collaboration between organisations, we would like to invite you to join our next networking event.
Join us for a breakfast butty, networking and to hear from other organisations about some of the fantastic work going on across the borough.
We have some fantastic speakers from local businesses and organisations. Rosie Bright from Divergent Consulting will talk about the importance of local networks such as the South Tyneside Pledge for growing and supporting local businesses. Chris Green from Tyneside Home Improvements and Vicki Morrison from SafeSol will talk about the family run-business and the importance of using local suppliers. Roweena Russell from Big Local Jarrow will talk about how they’re using the Pledge to focus on local.
We will also be joined by Rachel Mills from Job Centre Plus to talk about the help and advice they can offer to employers on recruitment and supporting existing employees.
Share your business story
On booking all organisations attending will be asked to provide an introduction to their organisation; identify top products or services they buy and sell to encourage local business. This will be printed out to help encourage local collaboration, and organisations can also opt to speak at the event so it’s a great opportunity to promote what you do.
Places are reserved for Pledge organisations only, and will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
