Let’s Talk About Unpaid Carers and Employment

This event will focus on ‘increasing access to stable and supportive employment opportunities’ for unpaid carers wishing to return to work and those wanting to stay in work.

It is an opportunity for organisations and employers in South Tyneside to come together with carers to share and learn more about support and projects. There will be presentations from organisations on ways to support employees who also have caring responsibilities and information about employability projects and skills support.

Refreshments will be provided.

South Tyneside Council is proud to be working with Employers for Carers to help SMEs and health partners in South Tyneside support and keep hold of carers in their workforces.
