Business Week – Launch Event and Exhibition

This Launch Event and Exhibition will kickstart Business Week 2022 featuring known and loved North East brands.

Michael Dickson, Managing Director of Dicksons will share his inspirational business story that spans three generations.  For over six decades Dicksons have been creating a selection of the finest quality products, and with over 30 shops are now the region’s largest family- owned provider of meat and food products.

Newcastle Building Society is the largest building society in the North East of England and unlike many banking institutions is investing in our high streets, opening new locations and delivering on its purpose of ‘connecting communities with a better financial future’.  We will hear from Stuart Fearn, Head of Customer Contact, about the vital role Newcastle Building Society plays in supporting vibrant local economies, and why their local investment in areas such as South Tyneside is so important.

Finally, Matt Cormack, Partner in Ward Hadaway’s Commercial Team, will share the successful independent law firm’s business story, that also has its origins in South Shields.
