Come along to The Word, South Shields on Tuesday 13th September to learn how to protect your business from Cyber Crime! Join our face to face drop in sessions and play The Decisions & Disruptions Lego game
Protecting yourself and your business from Cyber Crime shouldn’t be complicated or bamboozling. That’s why BIPC North East have teamed up with our Cyber Security Expert Jon Hudson from North East Regional Cyber Crime Unit from the region’s joint police services to help arm your organisation with need-to-know tools and techniques delivered in a fun & informal way.
Decision & Disruptions Lego Game
If you are a fan of games and Lego and prefer to learn more about Cyber Crime in a practical setting, then this is the activity for you! Join us at The Word, South Shields on Tuesday 13th September.
In the game, participants will play the role of ‘Cyber Security Consultants’ and are allocated a pot of money to spend on which ever cyber defences you choose!
Decisions & Disruptions is a fun, friendly and light hearted way of learning about the results of decisions (whether these turn out to be benefits or consequences) you make around Cyber Security.
Participants will leave with a greater understanding about this subject, and at the same time, have fun!
What to expect on the day?
- Decision & Disruptions will take place at The Word, South Shields on Tuesday 13th September from 10.00am – 12.00pm.
- Please arrive from 9.45am for registration
- Participants will be joining a team of up to 5 people, so please feel free to bring a work colleague or friend.
- There will be up to a maximum of 6 teams on the day.
Who should come along?
We welcome locally based businesses & start-ups who would like to know more about Cyber Security and would like to become more vigilant online to protect their business assets.
