My company has two main areas of focus. The first is providing medico-legal physiotherapy services for amputees, delivered in collaboration with a prosthetics company. The second is providing a holistic approach to pain management within the local community.
My long-term aim is to extend these services to charities and community organisations whose clients may not have previously had access to physiotherapy or may not have considered physiotherapy as part of their support and recovery.
I am particularly keen to work with individuals experiencing persistent pain or physical difficulties associated with substance misuse and domestic abuse. I believe physiotherapy can play an important role alongside existing support services by helping people better understand and manage pain, improve physical function, rebuild confidence, and support their overall wellbeing.
Ultimately, I would like to develop partnerships with charities and services that work with vulnerable and underserved communities, making physiotherapy more accessible to individuals who may otherwise have limited opportunities to access this type of specialist support.
