A North East tech firm which is paving the way in innovative internet connectivity has become one of the latest businesses to join the South Tyneside pledge.
Trench Networks Limited’s award-winning technology provides businesses with reliable, secure, and high performing connectivity solutions, including 4G, 5G, Fibre and Low Earth Orbit Satellite. Using a range of technologies has allowed the company to deliver robust connections, to literally any location.
Trench is currently experiencing a huge period of growth, in the last 12 months alone, they have gone from 8 employees to 21, and are continuing to grow.
Kevin Latimer, CEO and Co-founder at Trench Networks, said:
“We are extremely proud to make the South Tyneside Pledge. Having moved to Hebburn back in November last year due to our rapid growth, we’ve found the location ideal for our business needs. The transport links mean we are much closer to our customers, and the commute into the office is easier for our employees.”
“We provide connectivity services across the UK, but we remain a local company at heart, with our roots planted firmly in the North East. In such turbulent economic times, it’s never been more important to support our local community, attract likeminded businesses to the area and boost the South Tyneside economy.”
Cllr Tracey Dixon, Leader of South Tyneside Council and Chair of South Tyneside Partnership, said:
“We are delighted to welcome more South Tyneside businesses like Trench Networks to the pledge to continue to improve our communities and help South Tyneside thrive.
“Trench Networks is an award-winning technology company and we are pleased to hear about its relocation to Monkton Business Park, an ideal location to meet rapid business growth. They are a fantastic addition to our pledge and we look forward to seeing them grow further in the next coming months.”
Launched in January 2022, the South Tyneside Pledge aims to boost local economic activity, reduce health inequalities, cut carbon emissions and enhance civic pride for the benefit of the whole borough.
