First Aid Saves Lives CIC

Location: All South Tyneside

First Aid Saves Lives CIC is a community interest company based in South Tyneside, dedicated to improving access to lifesaving first aid knowledge and emergency response skills within local communities.

Our mission is to make first aid education accessible, practical and inclusive for everyone, regardless of background or circumstance. We focus on empowering individuals, families and community groups with the confidence and skills to act in an emergency, whether at home, in public spaces or within community settings.

We deliver community focused workshops covering essential lifesaving skills including CPR, defibrillator awareness, basic life support, bleeding control and emergency first aid awareness. Sessions are designed to be clear, engaging and suitable for people with little or no previous training.

First Aid Saves Lives CIC works closely with local organisations, schools, charities and community groups across South Tyneside to deliver free and subsidised training where it is needed most. We place a strong emphasis on supporting underserved groups and reducing barriers to first aid education.

Any income generated through merchandise, workshops and partnerships is reinvested directly into community projects. This allows us to fund free training sessions, educational resources and wider community safety initiatives that help build long term resilience.

First Aid Saves Lives CIC exists to strengthen communities through knowledge, confidence and preparedness, helping more people across South Tyneside gain the skills that can truly save lives.
