To date the North East Fund has helped 15 South Tyneside based companies to raise £14.5 million and has also provided non-financial support relating to business plan preparation to over 90 businesses. \n\n\n\nIf you have a fantastic business idea but don’t know what funding is available\, or how to present the idea in a structured plan\, then drop-in to speak to External Engagement Officer for the North East Fund James Holloway. \n\n\n\nJames can explain how debt or equity funding from the North East Fund might work for you as well as how to pull in funding and support from other sources. \n\n\n\nThe North East Fund can you help you build a full package of support and provide guidance on completing their funding applications – all on a free\, confidential and no obligation basis. This is for you!\n\n\n\nLooking to boost your online presence and create social media posts that really stand out? Join our practical\, hands-on workshop designed to help you master the secret of making your social media POP!\n\n\n\nIf you’re new to social media or want to sharpen your skills\, this session will take you through the practicalities you need to consider when posting content.\n\n\n\nYou’ll learn the tricks professionals use to make their posts pop and really jump out to their target customers. Expert Lee Casey\, who has delivered digital marketing sessions to hundreds of North East entrepreneurs to great acclaim\, has developed this session especially for TEDCO so YOU can access it too. You’ll also meet TEDCO Business Advisor Jeff Thompson who’ll be on hand to explain the additional support available through the Start Up South Tyneside programme. \n\n\n\nLee Casey will be excitedly sharing her top tips on: \n\n\n\n\nTechniques to capture great photos\n\n\n\nThe design of engaging posts that grab attention and reflect your brand\n\n\n\nScheduling content to save time and stay consistent\n\n\n\nSharing practical tips for maximum engagement\n\n\n\n\nThis is an ideal session if you are in the planning stages of starting your business\, have recently started your business\, are looking to improve your social media skills or are new to social media and need to know how to get started. \n\n\n\nBring your learning enthusiasm and phone (or suitable device for posting). \n\n\n\nIMPORTANT NOTE\n\n\n\nWhat to bring: \n\n\n\n\nA smartphone with internet access – we’ll provide free wifi\n\n\n\nAny photos or content ideas you’d like to work on during the session\n\n\n\nTea/coffee/water will be provided and you are welcome to bring along your own drinks.\n\n\n\n\nCome and learn how to make your posts POP!
